Camiguin Province

Let me start my travelogue with the last province that summed up our Northern Mindanao Region Escapade.

Oceanjet fast craft has a direct route to Benoni port in Camiguin from CDO via Macabalan port but with only two schedules available, from CDO-Camiguin at 8:30AM and from Camiguin-CDO at 4:00PM. Travel time is 2 hours. Since we have to catch our flight back to Manila the next day, we sailed back to Balingoan port which is an hour away by water and 2 hours by land going to CDO.

Beforehand I already booked our accommodation with Pabua Cottages c/o Kuya Poloy (09064152557). This resort is one of the cheapest accommodations here in Camiguin. Aside from the clean concrete cottages, they have excellent service. Hot water is served in the morning, kitchen utensils may be use for free and for additional P50.00 for gas consumption, you can cook your own meal.

And on our way to Camiguin, I contacted Kuya Frank (09205405582) and negotiated for multicab rental. He gave us P1,500 for the whole day tour plus P400 to bring us back to benoni port the next day. He also gave us a practical route which made the whole tour a hassle free trip.

About pinay travelaholic

A Filipina who loves to travel. Born with a family of travelers and started traveling when she was just 2months old. Raised in the hustle and bustling life of the metro but has savored the laid back lifestyle of the countryside during summer vacations. At a very young age, she has experienced being stranded on a train for 3 days, being thrown inside the window of the bus just to save a seat and “top loaded” (riding on the roof) on a PUJ just to reach their destination. …Traveling became her adventure since then.
