Katibawasan Falls, Camiguin

Sixth stop, Katibawasan Falls.

It’s very unusual to come across a waterfall that is effortlessly accessible and Katibawasan Falls is one of them. The local government even constructed concrete stairs so that visitors can easily go down the falls.

I have been to different beaches and springs but this is the first time that I have seen a waterfall up close (well aside from Ma. Christina Falls in Iligan) and have dipped into it.

Cascading 250 feet high and with beguiling strong current surrounded by lush green forest, this falls definitely highlighted my trip here in Camiguin.

About pinay travelaholic

A Filipina who loves to travel. Born with a family of travelers and started traveling when she was just 2months old. Raised in the hustle and bustling life of the metro but has savored the laid back lifestyle of the countryside during summer vacations. At a very young age, she has experienced being stranded on a train for 3 days, being thrown inside the window of the bus just to save a seat and “top loaded” (riding on the roof) on a PUJ just to reach their destination. …Traveling became her adventure since then.
