Touring Davao City

People’s Park is located in Legaspi St., Davao City. Unlike other tourist spots, there is no entrance fee making it a cheap destination for budget travelers.

Roaming around, you will find the Durian dome where a small museum is housed. It also has playgrounds, fountains and dancing lights. Huge trees and plenty of plants surround the park. But the object that stands out the most is the large sculptures by the well-known local artist Kublai Milan.

The park is huge, clean and very relaxing so, instead of going to some other tourists spots we opted to stay here 🙂

Aside from parks, there are also several malls around the city:

About pinay travelaholic

A Filipina who loves to travel. Born with a family of travelers and started traveling when she was just 2months old. Raised in the hustle and bustling life of the metro but has savored the laid back lifestyle of the countryside during summer vacations. At a very young age, she has experienced being stranded on a train for 3 days, being thrown inside the window of the bus just to save a seat and “top loaded” (riding on the roof) on a PUJ just to reach their destination. …Traveling became her adventure since then.
