Davao Del Norte Province

Tagum City is well-known for the most number of annual festivals throughout the Philippines. They total 15 festivals and Kadagayaan Festival is one of them.

Kadagayaan Festival is a celebration of Davao del Norte’s founding anniversary. This year, it was held at their new stadium where Azkals and locals played a friendly match. They also had several booths outside the stadium from different municipalities showcasing their products and tourist attractions.

We are fortunate to have experienced this during our visit, not only because we were able to celebrate one of the 15 festivals, but this one is special because we were able to see all the municipalities of Davao del Norte in just one place…Superb!

About pinay travelaholic

A Filipina who loves to travel. Born with a family of travelers and started traveling when she was just 2months old. Raised in the hustle and bustling life of the metro but has savored the laid back lifestyle of the countryside during summer vacations. At a very young age, she has experienced being stranded on a train for 3 days, being thrown inside the window of the bus just to save a seat and “top loaded” (riding on the roof) on a PUJ just to reach their destination. …Traveling became her adventure since then.
