Sorsogon Tour

I and my travel hubby celebrated Christmas Season of 2014 in his province at Camarines Sur. And since it was a 12 day vacation, I decided to organize a beach tour comprising 3 provinces in the Bicol Region: Camarines Norte, Sorsogon and Masbate. I also included a side trip on the beaches of Camarines Sur and Albay, so that’s a total of 5 provinces all in all. Below is our SUPPOSED itinerary and budget for this trip:

Unfortunately, a typhoon coincided with our schedule and local coast guards did not allow any boat to sail, so we cancelled the Masbate and Camarines Norte trip and ended up with our Sorsogon trip since we only have to travel by land.

Should have scheduled this trip on a summer e?…

Instead of the initial plan of commuting, we brought a vehicle and just shared with the driver and fuel expenses. We also did not stay overnight as originally planned because the typhoon was already at its peak so we just spent few hours at the beach and went home the same day. With this, there’s big cut with our actual expense.

Gas 1,090.00
Driver 1,000.00
Parking fee 20.00
Lunch 480.00
Boat rental 300.00
Washroom fee 90.00
Dinner 400.00
3,380.00 divided by 5= P680.00/head

About pinay travelaholic

A Filipina who loves to travel. Born with a family of travelers and started traveling when she was just 2months old. Raised in the hustle and bustling life of the metro but has savored the laid back lifestyle of the countryside during summer vacations. At a very young age, she has experienced being stranded on a train for 3 days, being thrown inside the window of the bus just to save a seat and “top loaded” (riding on the roof) on a PUJ just to reach their destination. …Traveling became her adventure since then.
