Kenzie Renz Lodging House

I did not book our accommodation ahead of time because I did not expect a large crowd on the day of our trip (which coincided with the Papal Visit). Armed with a long list of accommodations with contact numbers, I started calling each one along the way to check for available room. And each accommodation on my list told me that they are already fully booked. All my resources have been exhausted and I started to get weary and worried because it is already 8PM with no confirmed room to sleep over.

Reluctantly, I asked the driver of the van if he knows any lodging house where we can stay. He said that they own a lodging house then called his wife and booked us immediately.

They have the second floor of their house as the lodging area that can accommodate up to 30 pax. The house is actually also fully booked but they let us stay at their daughter’s room at the first floor. P1000/night may be expensive for this humble room but for us, this place worth every penny🙂

About pinay travelaholic

A Filipina who loves to travel. Born with a family of travelers and started traveling when she was just 2months old. Raised in the hustle and bustling life of the metro but has savored the laid back lifestyle of the countryside during summer vacations. At a very young age, she has experienced being stranded on a train for 3 days, being thrown inside the window of the bus just to save a seat and “top loaded” (riding on the roof) on a PUJ just to reach their destination. …Traveling became her adventure since then.
