Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Manaoag, Pangasinan

This was my second visit after it was raised into a Minor Basilica last Feb. 17, 2015. But I have visited this church a couple of times already since my father originated from Pangasinan.

This time I have noticed the statues piled up at the entrance of the church. This made the appearance of the church similar to the churches in Rome.

The façade of the church is also newly painted but the altar and the place where the image of the Holy Rosary is housed stands the same.

About pinay travelaholic

A Filipina who loves to travel. Born with a family of travelers and started traveling when she was just 2months old. Raised in the hustle and bustling life of the metro but has savored the laid back lifestyle of the countryside during summer vacations. At a very young age, she has experienced being stranded on a train for 3 days, being thrown inside the window of the bus just to save a seat and “top loaded” (riding on the roof) on a PUJ just to reach their destination. …Traveling became her adventure since then.
