Island Hopping: Nueva Valencia, Guimaras

Nueva Valencia is also a third class municipality of Guimaras. The bay of Nueva Valencia alone boasts a cream-colored sand and with a mix of green and blue colored beach, wait ‘til you see the other islands around the municipality.

Raymen Beach Resort

It is where our pick up point for our island hopping tour. Entrance fee is P25.00 and you can swim at the shore after your island hopping experience.

Igang Marine Station-SEAFDEC

9

Short for Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center. It houses plenty of marine species for research and reproduction purposes.

Ave Maria Islet

10

This islet is one of my favorites because it is (still) not commercialized. No manmade structure… only you, the fine sand, nice rock formation and crystal clear water.

Lamurawan Beach Resort

11

Distinct among other islands because of its white staircase and a huge grotto at the top. You can have a bird’s eye view of the other islands here.

Baras Cave

12

A small cave with two access point. You can get inside the cave during low tide.

Natago Beach

13

A good place to snorkel because of its rich coral reef reservoir.

About pinay travelaholic

A Filipina who loves to travel. Born with a family of travelers and started traveling when she was just 2months old. Raised in the hustle and bustling life of the metro but has savored the laid back lifestyle of the countryside during summer vacations. At a very young age, she has experienced being stranded on a train for 3 days, being thrown inside the window of the bus just to save a seat and “top loaded” (riding on the roof) on a PUJ just to reach their destination. …Traveling became her adventure since then.
